Professor Bergbower (Ph.D., Southern Illinois University, 2009) joined the Department in the Fall of 2010. Prior to that, he served a year-long fellowship in the Illinois Governor's Office. Professor Bergbower teaches courses in American politics and political methodology. His research interests include state politics, campaigns, and voting behavior. Dr. Bergbower's most recent work centers on issue voting in statewide campaigns.
